"A local LA band that is on the verge of something huge in the alt-rock community" - LA Music Critic/Indie Voice Blog
Emerging from Los Angeles, alternative/indie-pop duo Eleven Point Two hit the ground running in 2016 after moving across the country from Grand Haven, Michigan. What began as personal songwriting in their garage has evolved into fully self-produced tracks of melancholic lyrics over synth-driven melodies. Comprised of musical brothers, Taylor and Jon Siegel, the dynamic duo has developed their own take on an alt-rock sound that is very eclectic. Influenced by a vast array of artists including Twenty One Pilots, Angels & Airwaves, and Keane, their music resonates with a style that touches on equal parts originality and familiarity.
Since entering the studio, the duo has successfully put out an impressive catalogue of music. Their “Unidentified” EP, which was released in September of 2017, garnered an impressive amount of positive reception. This led them to receive the award for the “Best Alternative” category at 2018’s Ventura County Music Awards. Now, with their debut album “Painting in the Dark,” the duo has shown that their sound is evolving and developing into a style that is next-level and innovative; showing a promising direction for Eleven Point Two both musically and collectively.
